I like transformers, its a fact

In the output section of solid state amps? Rarely done except via Mcintosh

But with transformer on the output they make the amps safe and easy to use.

Dc offset is no big problem.

With a transformer no DC voltage can pass thru, superb protection for your expensive speakers

No loud speaker protection needed and yet they sound so good even though we are handing something.

With transformer output, the bass has become more texture, with the soundstage really opening up. Things were airy and well place and the music was more tidy with each instrument playing in its own space. And not just mixed up in the middle of the soundstage. With it the music has become more fluid and lifelike.

Then as I look more into why did using a transformer sound much better with solid state amps.

Impedance matching. Is the answer

When your amp drives a purely inductive component like a transformer, it does not see your speaker wild reactive loadings but instead it sees a very stable high impedance  load from by the inductance of the transformer which does not fluctuate under load or frequency .

Because of this solid state amps finally have the drive, power and slam and the musicality of the valve amps

Why do we use a transformer instead of an auto former after much listening test we found the transformers provided isolation in terms of DC voltage and sound noticeable better than an auto former.

This transformers are made with 4N copper wires.

Core material is stress- annealed M6 core to relieve all forms of mechanical stress allowing better fluidity of the music.

Specially treated BellCovers are used to shield the transformer for stray magnetic fields which would corrupt the flow of the signal.

The transformer is made with multiple interleaving to maintain the full frequency extremes.
